I occasionally discovered this site when was looking for resume writing help. But as I read details, I realized it wasn’t exactly what I was looking for. The site offered a so-called ‘resume career network’ which helps you to be visible for recruiters and noticed. I’ve never tried a service like this, so I decided that it won’t do me any harm as my job searching process was a bit stuck.

Here you pay not for the job done, but for the subscription. There are three packages available – basic, plus and proactive, with the prices ranging from $39 to $99 monthly. Well, if it’s really helpful in job searching process, then it’s not expensive at all. As I wasn’t sure about how it worked, I decided to buy a cheapest one first.

How it works

First of all, I was asked so sign up and pay for the package I have chosen. I answered the questions in my profile and uploaded my resume. Then the company started matching my resume to the vacancies. But, to be honest, there were not many job openings matching me in my town. The idea was pretty interesting, but having spent a couple of days here I still haven’t found any suitable option for me.

Conclusion

After I spend several days trying to make it work, I ended up ordering a classical resume and cover letter writing from a resume company. I dealt with SITE and left satisfied. If you want my opinion, don’t waste your money on all these fancy online things. Get yourself a professional, well-written resume and you’ll get noticed. I know what I’m talking about: it’s been two weeks since I sent over my new resume and I already got 3 interviews.
